The Liquor Emporio Govind Puri was a liquor store interior project executed by Next BC in Delhi for Sri Avantika Contractor Ltd. The project started like a normal retail store execution, with electrical work, flooring and false ceiling completed as planned.
The main challenge started when the racks and counters arrived at site and installation began. A large public crowd gathered outside the store to protest against the liquor outlet, and the situation became tense for the site team.
Our team handled the situation carefully and explained that they were only working to earn their livelihood. Slowly, the anger moved away from the execution team and the work was allowed to continue with proper coordination.
Eventually, the store opened for operations under police protection. It was one of the most intense and unforgettable project experiences for the Next BC team.
Despite the difficult on-ground situation, the store was completed and made operational through patience, coordination and strong site commitment.
