TLW Ambience Gurgaon was a liquor retail redevelopment project executed by Next BC near Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. After one year of COVID operations, TLW decided to improve the customer experience at this location.
Earlier, the store was operating from a small container space of around 200 sq.ft. Under the new plan, the same site was redeveloped into a proper liquor retail store with better layout, visibility and customer movement.
The adjoining DLF property had been deeply excavated and left open, which created a structural safety risk for both customers and staff. Because of this condition, the site required additional safety planning before final execution.
To ensure safety, additional counterbalance base supports were created and the structure was strengthened accordingly. Even though the liquor store license was valid for only 12 months, we advised the client to invest extra in safety measures.
The client accepted the recommendation and prioritised long-term safety over short-term cost. Completing the store safely under these conditions made this project an important milestone for the Next BC team.
